   BOT Suits are robotic and cybernetic suits that people wear to enhance there abilities and give them abilities that they normally do not possess.  BOT suits are being developed around the globe and will soon be a part of everyday Human life.  They will assist us in everyday chores such as mowing the lawn, and also be used in service industries such as nursing homes and hospitals.  They will be deployed throughout constructions sites, mechanics garages and warehousing plants everywhere.  This suit can benefit and improve many fields and industries.  The military applications are obvious not to mention disaster relief efforts and new potential sporting events!  The list of possible applications is almost endless.

This is the HAL5, probably the best looking BOT suit soon to be on the market.  This suit has been developed by Yoshiyuki Sankai, and the Cyberdyne company.  HAL stands for Hybrid Automated Limb.
 
The Power Assist Suit is being developed and is currently being tried and tested by real nurses in real situations.  The suit is being developed by the Kanagawa Institute of Technology in Tokyo, Japan.
 
Here is a the ExoHiker, a first generation field-ready exoskeleton designed by Berkley Bionics.  This BOT suit was completed in 2005 and the video is from 2007.  There are subsequent models being developed.
 

The Gypsy MIDI exoskeleton body suit proves that BOT suits are about more than just strength and power.  They have many possible entertainment and theatrical arts applications.
 
This is the Raytheon SARCOS XOS BOT suit built in Utah.  The soldiers' BOT suit is currently being developed for military applications.
 
The LIFESUIT is being developed by Monty Reed in the Seattle area.  His goal is to allow paralyzed people to walk again.  He himself was almost paralyzed at a point in his life which gave him the idea for this BOT suit.
 

The Department of Engineering at the Tokyo Institute of Science is currently working on this BOT suit which uses pressurized air rubber tubes to assist in raising the arm.
 
Rewalk is the brainchild of Dr. Amit Goffer, founder of Argo Medical Technologies in Israel  This BOT suit will be used to help the paralyzed walk and get around.. 
 
The Walking Assist Device is a pair of BOT legs that Honda is working on in Japan.  This pair of legs is going to be used for people who work in factories and other jobs where the workers will be standing or walking for long periods of time.  Not a complete suit, but more could be added in the future.
